MARCO RAUDA


Marco Rauda is the former Director of Policy and Strategic Relationships for the 36th Nevada Lt. Governor’s Office. Before this, Rauda served as the Southwest Political Coordinator for the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union, where he coordinated campaigns to win political, electoral and legislative changes. His experience includes political and policy work on behalf of immigration, civic engagement, and environmental organizations. 


Rauda, who moved to Las Vegas in 1995, is known for speaking with equal authority in Nevada’s Hispanic community, to union and business leadership, to political leadership of both parties, and to nonprofit organizations representing diverse policy objectives and constituencies.


Born in San Salvador, El Salvador, Rauda immigrated to Southern California in 1988. He first demonstrated his skill in working with people on policy issues as a canvasser for the Nevada State Democratic Party during the 2006 mid-term election, and then as an organizer for Western caucuses for the party in 2007.

AMY SANCHEZ RAAZ


Amy Sanchez Raaz is a community leader with more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. Her work at the DCCC in Washington D.C., overseeing races across the country, prepared her for a successful career in electoral politics.


Amy co-founded The Latina Initiative, a non-profit. Utilizing her lived experiences along with her strong commitment to expanding the role of Latinas in public policy, she designed and implemented a highly successful voter engagement program based on data and digital programing. She brings in-depth knowledge of Colorado, the metro-Denver area and the complicated issues confronting its diverse populations.


Amy currently sits on the board of Servicios De La Raza. She is a graduate of the Latino Leadership Institute at the University of Denver and is an attorney and obtained her JD from the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
